Fort Lauderdale is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Fort Lauderdale is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We love Mitch’s! 🥯☕️ Mitch’s Downtown is our favorite spot for bagels and coffee in downtown Fort Lauderdale, and Mila loves coming too! They proudly serve Wells Coffee (the best!) and have an incredible selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. My go-to breakfast order is the Hangover Breakfast Sandwich, and on weekends it’s one of our favorite walkable spots in Flagler Village. The team is always so friendly, and it’s such a nice touch that they remember my coffee order every time. Don’t skip lunch either—the Pastrami Rachel and Tuna Melt are two of my favorites. They also have a great loyalty program through their app, so you can earn points toward free coffee and other perks. Highly recommend if you’re looking for one of the best local breakfast and lunch spots in Fort Lauderdale! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We tried the "Hangover part 2" and we both thought it was fabulous! Service was great, employees were welcoming and kind. Great little place! Only challenge was the parking. Street parking is available if you're lucky enough to get a spot. We parking in the parking garage accessible from the street behind and walked through to the storefront. Other than that it was great.

Best spot in all of Florida! This location has the nicest staff, and the food is consistently great. I come in every morning, and they always take the time to ask how I’m doing, which makes the experience feel personal and welcoming. Morgan, Gen, and Victoria are the people I speak with most, and they are beyond kind and always go the extra mile. Honestly, everyone here is super friendly. I truly appreciate this team and highly recommend this location!

I love this place! I love it even more now because they have matcha... and even matcha with lavender.... previously not being a coffee drinker and they not having tea was a drawback so now I am happy! I am not a huge fan of counter ordering but the staff are friendly and the lines move fast. I have been ordering The Becta and it is a perfect breakfast sandwich. It is egg, bacon, avocado, cheese and truffle oil on a fresh and delicious bagel... it is really exactly how a breakfast sandwich should be. Today we also ordered the OG pancake and egg platter and the pancakes were ginormous and perfectly cooked. I didn't love the sausage patties that tasted like they might have been microwaved but they were gobbled down nonetheless. I will tell you that the exceptionality of the becta will make up for the sausage so I will give the food 5 stars. Thank you for adding matcha and we will be back for my very favorite breakfast sandwich again and again. :)
